When should you buy an iPhone?
Buying a new smartphone isn’t a tricky part but if you think a little bit deeper then you will some interesting points, specially about iPhones.

I don’t know if everyone have a similar thought before buying an iPhone but as far as I know a lot of people don’t pay attention to this.

Simple answer is Wait.
- The reason is quite simple too i.e. Price cut.
When Apple launches a new model in the market then the previous product of the same category under goes a price cut. Why? Who would buy a previous generation smartphone for a higher price? No one, right? So we get the same product (in this case smartphone) for a cheaper price.
Then you may have a doubt — Why should I buy a generation old iPhone?
Nice question and the answer is “It’s an iPhone”. iPhone holds a special feature that sets it apart from Android i.e. Updates. Every iPhone model receives updates for at least 5 years unlike Android’s 3 years (max).
So a generation old iPhone isn’t bad unless you want some key features that are missing in that model.
2. Another reason to wait for the next iPhone model is the new iPhone.
If you are not price conscious and comfortable to pay huge money then waiting for the next generation iPhone might be a good option.
Obvious reasons are new hardware — Camera setup, battery capacity, etc., and new software features associated with the new hardware else previous-gen model receives that features too through an update.
When should you buy an iPhone — Now or After?
It’s up to you. If you are price conscious and want an iPhone then want till the next model arrives. If you are comfortable to pay a huge price and conscious about specifications then wait for the next model.
If you want a smartphone with branding “iPhone” then buy any iPhone.
