Xiaomi patents a Smartphone with built in Wireless earphones
Smartphone with built-in wireless earphones? Seems like a good idea. It comes handy if we travel more.
This idea seems great because recently Xiaomi patented a design which shows this idea. As of now this idea seems truly great on paper. Personally, I like that idea.
The patent reveals that this smartphone will house a built-in TWS earphones which is similar to the S pen in Samsung’s Galaxy Note series. So these earphones can be used whenever we need it because they are right inside the smartphone.

Xiaomi is one of those innovative brands which does this crazy things unlike others (Apple). Having a close look at this (If I’m not wrong) there’s a feature phone from Nokia with the same concept i.e. Bluetooth earphone but at the back.

This is possible because there’s no limitation of space for the earphone but in case of a smartphone it looks great but
- How is it possible?
- What are the things which should be compromised?
These are some questions which strike the mind especially due to the size of the earphones. If the earphones are to be housed in a smartphone then either
- The thickness of the smartphone should be greater than thicker smartphones Or
- The body of the earphones should be less thicker than the smartphone itself.
Apart from this the earbud’s size seems small then would they fit in the ears without slipping. Even regular-sized earphones slip out from the ears now and then. In that case, it seems unfeasible but not to mention Mi already patented this innovative product.
But……… Hold your horses, because there are so many patents than the products in the market. So we have no idea if this patent remains as a patent or happen to be a product in the market.
But I like the base idea because of the convenience and the extra feature like doubling as stereo speakers.
What other things can we expect for inbuilt in a smartphone?
There isn’t much about other things which should be inbuilt for this smartphone. But smartphone in general with other things inbuilt can be cool are DAC, thermal camera, cooling fan and self-healing display.
